With the help of the app BoatSpeed, you can get detailed information on the speed, course, and position of your boat.
BoatSpeed is a free and easy-to-use app that can be used by everyone on their mobile devices. It works in a simple and intuitive way. All you have to do is start the app and press "Get Speed". In the next view, you will see the current speed in km/h, m/s, or kt.
You can switch between these three units. km/h stands for kilometers per hour. m/s is for meters per second. kt is for kilotons.
The next thing you will see is a map of your location.
You can see your current position.
You can save the values of the speed and course.
You can export the values to a text file.
The app provides an anchor alert. You can set the warning distance from your anchor in meters.
